Occs

Occs, the commercial brand of the company Occs Menorca, S.L., based in the islands of Menorca and Mallorca, was founded in 2014 by Jaume Verdera and Antoni Nicolás, veterinarians committed to providing advanced solutions in the agricultural and livestock sector. 


We offer a wide range of veterinary services—from individualized clinical and reproductive management using the most advanced methodologies in bovine care, to the coordination of collective livestock health campaigns. Our services also include training and consulting in molecular diagnostics.

 

Our mission is to improve the lives of our clients by delivering innovative solutions that optimize farm management, animal health and welfare, and the quality of food products.

Meet the team

Jaume Verdera Co-founder of Occs

Co-founder of Occs, holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a university specialization in Small and Medium Business Management, and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of the Balearic Islands. He also holds a master’s degree in Dairy Cattle Farm Consulting and Management from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. 


Currently, in addition to serving as administrator, he is a specialist and head of the Animal Health and Livestock Operations division. 

Antoni Nicolás Antoni Nicolás Co-founder of Occs

Co-founder of Occs, holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a university specialization in Small and Medium Business Management, and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of the Balearic Islands. 


Currently, in addition to serving as administrator, he is a specialist and head of the Food Industry and Biotechnology division. 

Facilities

A large part of Occs’ activity takes place on livestock farms located across Menorca and Mallorca. Our offices and laboratory are based in the Maó Industrial Park (POIMA), on the island of Menorca.
